Enrollment

How do I enroll a device?

The most common methods are:

  1. QR Code - Factory reset device, tap screen 6 times at welcome screen, scan QR code
  2. Zero-Touch - For pre-purchased devices, they auto-enroll on first boot

See our Enrollment Guide for detailed instructions.

Why isn't my QR code scanning?

Common issues:

  • Camera not opening: Tap the screen 6 times at the very first screen (language selection or "Hi there")
  • QR code expired: Check the token expiry date in Onboarding - create a new token if expired
  • QR code not recognized: Ensure the code is displayed clearly on screen
  • Network issues: Device must have Wi-Fi or mobile data connected first

Can I enroll personal devices (BYOD)?

Yes! Use Work Profile enrollment for BYOD scenarios. This creates a separate container for work apps and data while keeping personal apps and data private.

How do I unenroll a device?

As an admin, you can:

  1. Go to Devices and click on a device to open its detail view
  2. Select the Quick Actions tab
  3. Click Factory Reset to wipe and unenroll the device

Users with fully managed devices cannot unenroll without admin permission. Work profile users can remove the work profile from device settings.

Yes! You can:

  • Assign policies to individual devices from the device detail view
  • Use onboarding tokens to auto-assign policies during enrollment
  • Use tags to organize devices and apply policies to specific groups

How long does it take for policy changes to apply?
